Well, you might have noticed the masthead has changed.

As the onset of training camp (Aug. 6 for USC) draws closer, as well as the start of the season, we're going to be ramping up the 'SC football-related content here at Conquest Chronicles. So, cheers. Some of you might recall my previous stint with the blog as an editor in 2010, so it's nice to be back contributing again for the site. I'm not returning alone, though, and am accompanied by three other USC students/grads/writers/good people, who I've worked with at the Daily Trojan over the last couple of years. Here are some quick introductions. Some of them have already posted today.

Will Robinson: Will is a rising senior at USC, majoring in Communication. He's a senior sports editor for Neon Tommy, an online news publication sponsored by the Annenberg school. It launched in 2009 and focuses on L.A. news and sports, including USC football. He covered spring practice for NT and was a football blogger for the Daily Trojan's Tailback U blog last fall. He's a native of Davis, Calif., so he also follows the Sacramento Kings Queens. You can follow him on Twitter @Will_Robinson_.

Shotgun Spratling: Shotgun, more or less, does it all. Formerly, he was the associate sports editor for Neon Tommy. He currently covers Southern California baseball, including USC, for College Baseball Daily. He's been featured in SCPlaybook Magazine and WeAreSC.com. He also once had me on his podcast, entitled "Shotgun Versus," and never let me win. It was rigged. He's on Twitter, too @ShotgunSpr.

Trevor Wong: Well, I've certainly worked with Trevor before. We were both sports editors for the DT during the 2011 calendar year and were the paper's football beat writers last fall, as well. Trevor has also covered women's basketball for the DT, had a weekly column and branched out a bit last season, working as a public relations intern with the Lakers. He graduated in May with a degree in Print and Digital Journalism and a minor in sports media studies. He also likes to eat -- a lot. Be sure to follow him on Twitter @Trevor_Wong.

Football is coming.
