Here is a great write up on USC DB Tiny Burnett.
After practice Saturday, USC coach Lane Kiffin singled out cornerback Tony Burnett for his strong performance. While Kiffin addressed the media, Burnett headed across McClintock Avenue to the track stadium, where, later that afternoon, he set a personal best with a triple jump of 49 feet, 9 inches.
Not a bad day’s work, huh?
Burnett is the busiest athlete on USC’s campus these days, alternating between football and track during the week and, if necessary, pulling double duty on a Saturday.
"These five weeks are going to be a little hectic," he said earlier this spring. "But I’ll adapt to it."
So far, so great.
Tony Burnett is a great story.
He came out of nowhere last season, making a big impact on special teams and earned himself a scholarship because of his hard work.
These are the type of kids that you route for. The don't have a sense of entitlement, they put their nose to the grind stone and are happy just to have the opportunity.
Hard not to be impressed with this type of work ethic.
Like Nickell Robey last season everyone will be pulling for Burnett!
