Open Thread: NFL Draft - Second Round

A little late on this (stupid commute!) - today is the second round of the NFL Draft. Yesterday saw Tyron Smith go to the Cowboys, thus far nothing to report for SC players. Akeem Ayers of the mighty (!) Bruins appears to be en route to Tennessee.

Michael Lev of the OCR had these predictions:

** Defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (pictured) will go in the latter half of the second round, to a team that plays a 4-3 defense. Possibilities include Tampa Bay, the New York Giants, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Seattle.

** Cornerback Shareece Wright will go in the latter half of the third round. Durability concerns are just to great for him to be selected higher. Possibilities include Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Green Bay and Carolina.

** No other Trojans will be drafted on Day 2. The first ones off the board Saturday will be receiver Ronald Johnson and tight end Jordan Cameron. Center Kristofer O’Dowd, fullback Stanley Havili, tailback Allen Bradford and linebacker Malcolm Smith also will be drafted.

Let's see if he's right...
