GameDay Open Thread USC @ Minnesota

USC takes it on the road today to Minnesota.

USC has won its last two games to improve to 4-4 overall, and the most recent victory came on Wednesday by a 56-35 final over UC Riverside. Members of the Pac-12 Conference, the Trojans have played two true road games to date and managed to win one of those affairs.

As for Minnesota, a Big Ten Conference squad, it opened the season with six consecutive victories before falling to Dayton on a neutral court. To the credit of the Gophers, they bounced back strong with a 58-55 victory over Virginia Tech on Wednesday as part of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. All five home games thus far have resulted in wins for Minnesota.

The Gophers and Trojans have split their four previous meetings, the most recent of which took place in 2003.

The game is on the Big-10 Network so I get to see it here in NYC.
