To the surprise of absolutely nobody, SEC commissioner Mike Slive noted the following at SEC Media Day in response to recent investigations at Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina, for players allegedly receiving improper benefits from agents. Per Clay Travis's twitter:
Mike Slive on agents: "It is time to reexamine the NCAA rules relating to agents." NCAA rules are "part of problem rather than solution"
Slive, who also refused to mention Lane Kiffin by name and only as Derek Dooley's predecessor, just had his Mike Garrett moment. So congratulations. Glad to you know you're not a big fan of rules. SEC tradition, huh?
