Well that was fast.

Just days after Victor Blackwell commited to USC, the Trojans picked up yet another explosive player in Crenshaw HS runningback De'Anthony Thomas.

Thomas committed with a wall post on facebook, which said:

i made my decision... im a trojan

Thomas is a gifted athelete that will burn you with his speed and make you fall with his feet. Thomas is listed at 5-11, 195 pounds with 4.4 speed, but those measurables are wrong as it seems he is more lighter and quicker than listed. The kid from Crenshaw had an eye-popping junior year offensively and defensively.

Thomas is listed as the top cornerback in Scout.com's prospect rankings, but will most likely play running back at 'SC. Schools recruited him as a cornerback because he is a terrific defensive weapon as he is offensively, the dude is an impeccable athelete.

Before his commitment, Thomas made it clear that he wanted to stay close to home because of his tight relationship with his family. UCLA was the other team that Thomas was thought to consider closely, but Mr. Todd McNair did a brilliant job recruiting this special kid and locked him into USC.

The Trojans now have commitments from QB Max Wittek, WR Victor Blackwell, DE Jalen Grimble, and DT Antuwan Woods.
