I don't know what we could expect.

That we were even in this game at the end was surprising. I didn't expect it and I doubt that very many others expected it either. We exposed the Stanford defense tonight...just like Oregon did.

This was not a moral victory...but we saw the offense do EXACTLY what we expect out of them! There were very few miscues on offense. Barkley, RoJo and Woods were like a well oiled machine. The running game sputtered but when we needed it Allen Bradford got us the TD.

Once again the defense let us down.

And I was not surprised...

Lost containment, lack of tackling, missed assignments, poor coverage, receivers left open....you name it we saw it from the defense tonight.

They made some plays like getting three takeaways but that is about as much as I can give them. There were some bone head penalties but some iffy calls as well.

Lane Kiffin called a great game. Outside of the one running play where we should have spiked the ball in the first half I can't say that I am disappointed with his play calling tonight.

He has got the offense humming...it is still not perfect but we are seeing Barkley really mature and Robert woods making a name for himself.

So, lets be happy for the positive...the defenses lapse throughout tonight's game should not be a shock to anyone...

Like we have heard before...they are who we though they were.

So, leave your rants here...get it all out because Cal is up next.

This is our post game thread.

FIGHT ON!
