Wolf just reported it on his blog.
USC assistant coach Sam Anno, who handled the kickers and long-snappers for the past three seasons, resigned to become an assistant coach at Central Connecticut State.
Anno, a former USC linebacker, will coach linebackers and special teams at Central Connecticut. The school's head coach is former USC defensive line coach Jeff McInerny while former USC defensive lineman Ryan Nielsen is the defensive coordinator and former USC offensive lineman Jacob Rogers is the offensive line coach.
Anno's departure leaves the Trojans with a void on the staff just two weeks before training camp.
Something doesn't feel right here. If Anno wanted to move on why didn't he leave earlier in the off-season? You know more about this will come out, I mean come on I understand about moving up the ladder but Central Connecticut State? No disrespect intended but this is either a lateral move or a step down, JMHO.
Any coaching change this close to camp should be a concern so it will be interesting to see how SC adjusts.
