Mayo won't Return for his Sophomore Season

So says Coach Tim Floyd...from the FanHouse:

How obvious is it that USC freshman O.J. Mayo is only stopping by USC for a year before he leaves for the NBA? So obvious that USC coach Tim Floyd told Jim Rome that it would be "irresponsible" for him to ask Mayo to come back for another year.

As much as it would be nice to think "student athletes" are actually students, Floyd is right: There's no reason at all for a player who can be a Top 10 draft pick to stay in school.

Not a shocker if it's true.

Here is the video:

Funny how there hasn't been a single issue come up with Mayo since he has been at USC. He has been a model citizen and I have no reason to think that he won't continue to be that way once he moves on.
