2007 College Football Blogger Awards - The Job Award

The Job Award for the CFBA's is defined as: The blog that has suffered through its chosen team's dismal season with the most dignity.

CRITERIA: Continued engagement in the face of crippling, misery-inducing defeat. A stiff-upper lip and sane reaction to everything crumbling to dust.

Again, this is another easy one no teams fanbase suffered more with a greater pedigree than Notre Dame. This Proud Program went from watching itself almost beat USC in South Bend in 2005 to letting Navy finally win, thus breaking the streak lasted for some 40 or so years. That's a hard pill to swallow and for the most part the fanbase dealt with it the best they can.

My nomination for The Job Award:

  • Rakes Of Mallow I realize that the other ND Blogs has greater traffic but Rob and Chris handled the whole season with dignity. Some of the posts throughout this past season really tell a story. There a too many to mention but they fought the good fight and hoped for a better 2008.
