McCurtis Leaves the Team

Mozique McCurtis was the CB when Stanford scored on 4th and Goal on that fateful October evening has decided to leave the team in order to focus on his admission to Law School.

From the LAT:

USC defensive back Mozique McCurtis, who has a year of eligibility remaining, will not play next season so he can prepare to pursue admission to law school, Coach Pete Carroll said.

McCurtis, who has graduated, is the second defensive back to leave the program since the Rose Bowl. Vincent Joseph was declared academically ineligible and will transfer to another school.

Good for him! He has his priorities in order, as Law School is far more important than football. It leaves us a little thin at DB but we'll find a way to manage.

We wish him luck.

Fight On Mozique!
