I'm watching the LSU - VA Tech game. LSU's offense looks much better than they did against Mississippi State. And the Hokies are getting almost  nowhere against them - no first downs until the second half, if I'm following along, and one TD.

I know that some people are against teams losing ranking slots on a bye week, but I wouldn't be surprised to see LSU get ahead of SC on the strength of this game.

(Assuming of course that they don't have a complete meltdown in the last 13 minutes of the game, which this post may or may not have been written to provoke. What the hell, why not give in to the hopes of magical thinking, right?)
