The Pac 10 Tournament

Here is the bracket for the Pac 10 Tournament Starting on Wednesday March 7, 2007.

SC takes on #6 Stanford on Thursday with the possibility of playing WSU again for a chance at the title game. Let's Hope Coach Floyd has the guys fired up and ready to play.

Going as far as we can is important to seeding in the big Tournament so we need to put the tough WSU loss behind us and move forward.

Its hard to say where the committee will put us without going deep into our own conference tournament so there is a lot at stake. Obviously SC fans want another shot at UCLA so we need to play OUR game and put these games away early.

UCLA has an impressive record but they are beatable as we have played them close in the past, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.

UCLA's season-long resume is so strong -- the Bruins are 9-1 against teams in the RPI's top 50 -- that UCLA probably could earn a No. 1 even if it doesn't add the tournament title to its regular-season Pac-10 championship. But the Bruins would be wise to make Saturday's final.

Pencil in a short flight to Sacramento for a first-round game March 15, with another short flight to San Jose if they advance to the regional.

It's time for SC to remove the doubt that some have about us and finish the tournament strong. I am confident that we can do just that.
