So it comes down to this. Its' been a wild ride this season with some great games and some heart breakers, especially the UCLA game at the Galen Center but that is now in the past as the Bruins watch form the sidelines as USC plays in the Pac 10 Tournament Championship game against The Oregon Ducks. As I have a lot recently this win is all about seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Yes winning gets the automatic bid but I would like to be as high as possible in the bracket in order keep away from the other top seeds until we absolutely have to play them, you can say it's controlling our own destiny. I have seen somewhere that winning the Pac 10 tournament could make us a #4 seed but who knows, what the heck, lets win tonight and let the chips fall where they may.

SC swept the Ducks in the regular season, which to me is an ominous sign after beating WSU last night who swept us. It's never easy beating a team 3 times in a row. He Ducks have had a little easier road to hoe in this tournament; they beat a down Arizona team and took advantage of a Cal team that had to play 3 straight games including their stunning win over UCLA on Thursday so you know they didn't have much in the tank. Even Oregon freshman Guard Tajuan Porter knew to take advantage of it.

"They played three games in three days, so we just wanted to run them," said the 5-foot-6 Porter, who is 16-for-24 from the field in Oregon's two tournament wins, including 11 of 16 from 3-point range

There is no reason why we can't put these guys away as we have beaten them before. Hopefully the hot streak continues and we find a way to win this one. It may not be for all the marbles but a Pac 10 Championship Banner would be nice to have in the Galen Center.

SC has kind of flown under the radar this season but teams are catching, so now is the time to make a little more noise.

FIGHT ON!
