USC

#19 USC at #2 UCLA

Pauley Pavilion - Westwood, CA

UCLA

20-2

USC has the opportunity to tie UCLA for the top spot in the Pac 10 with a win tonight at Pauley Pavilion. The Bruins came back to beat SC last month on a last second jumper by Aaron Afflalo and I am sure that SC has not forgotten that.

There is no question that UCLA will be ready to play and this is SC's chance to solidify their presence in college hoops this year with a win tonight. This is not about anything other than winning. All the trash talk between the fans and the nonsense in the media is irrelevant this is about what happens on the court. SC had their chances last month and they need to focus on the task at hand and make the most of what's in front of them.

Tim Floyd has beaten them before so he knows what its like but this is a solid team that will have Josh Shipp in the line-up who missed last months game. SC needs to focus on defense, as the Bruins will give them a lot of different looks to try and spread SC out.

SC has a shot but it will be a tough battle to win at Pauley. The crowd will be insane and show just how much they have learned with that supposed high-class education that only a UC school can provide.

I almost feel like this is the battle for Gettysburg and you all have a front row seat. So sit back and watch the show, because it's a rivalry game I have no clue as to how it will go!

Leave your questions comments and rants here. I'm stuck in surgery this evening so I won't be able to catch the game.

FIGHT ON!
