1. Florida: With a complete dismantling of Ohio State in last nights BCS Title Game it is clear that Florida clearly deserved to be in this game. They had some interesting games this season but they hit their stride at the right time.
2. USC: Rebuilding year huh. They definitely kept me on the edge of my seat for a lot of the season. Their success had a lot to do with underclassmen in prominent roles. With just about every underclassman coming back except for probably Jarrett they look to be a strong contender for 2007. IF Pete Carroll returns.
3. LSU: There were a lot of questions about team chemistry when the team started but early in the season they played a great game against Auburn but they got back on track. Their smack down of Notre Dame really showed me how far they came this season.
4. Ohio State: For all the hype they were a big disappointment when the chips were down. They played some great games this season but in the end it didn't matter as they were schooled by a better team.
5. Boise State: The only undefeated team this season and they played lights out in one of the most entertaining games this season. They beat some good teams but I'm not sure they could hang with the big boys on a regular basis.
6. Louisville: After losing Michael Bush after the first game they played pretty well until they played Rutgers. Petrino leaving will hurt and I am uncomfortable with how he did it.
7. Wisconsin: They kind of flew under the radar for most of the season and they beat a much improved Arkansas team.
8. Auburn: They had some great games against LSU and Florida but their loss to Arkansas made them look uninspired.
9. Michigan: They played well all year-until their last two games. They gave tOSU all they could handle but came up a bit short. I was more surprised at their lack of adjustments in the 2nd half of the Rose Bowl.
10. Rutgers Being the North Jersey area I have had my fill of all the Rutgers fans that I can take. But I will admit it was great fun to watch and it is nice for the New York area to be on the CFB map. They should be great to watch next year!
