I had mentioned this in the diaries last night. I'm not really sure what to make of this but I just can't see it happening. Carroll could have all the power he wants but Miami is still an old team with some shaky QB's. He has little chance of winning anytime soon.
From the LA Times:
The Dolphins are seeking a successor to Nick Saban, who quit last week to become coach at Alabama.
Carroll could not be reached for comment.
Carroll, who has guided the Trojans to a 59-6 record and two national championships in the last five seasons, has been connected with NFL coaching vacancies after nearly every one of his six seasons at USC.
Yeah Yeah Yeah, Blah Blah Blah.
They came to him he didn't go them and you would have expected them to contact him to see if he was interested and of course he would listen, who wouldn`t? Who knows where this will go. He may be interested in the NFL but the Dolphins is the last place he would go. There will be a few more coaching spots open in the coming weeks so he can have the pick of the litter.
I don't think he will go but you know he is going to look, he has to.
