With his season and USC career over, Brandon Hancock will reportedly have a radio gig with KSPN 710-AM. Hancock should also have knee surgery this week to repair a torn MCL, ACL and Medial Meniscus (knee cartilige). Scott Wolf has the story and Hancock has also stated such on his Blog. We wish him luck with his surgery.
As has been reported elsewhere. USC will no longer have Yell Leaders on the sidelines. They will instead be ">relpaced by "Team Trojan", a 14 member coed spirit squad. Kyle has a great write-up here. As usual Kyle hits it on the head. Times change and we move on. We'll see how it goes.
First year starter John David Booty leads Athlon's top 10 first-year QB list. HT: Fight on Forever
The SportingNews' Matt Hayes has his review of USC for 2006. He's got SC running the table back to the NC Game. I give him credit for his optimism but I would like to see this team play at least one game before I start trying scrounge for tickets. I think Hayes makes some pretty good observations. Hayes also has a post up on his blog about LenDale White and how he thinks White's game is better suited for the NFL over Reggie Bush. He makes some pretty good points.
