Here are the three Trojans that will up for the final vote from the National Football Foundation in the coming months, which will be named in early May and then inducted December 9th, 2014. Tony Boselli, Southern California-Offensive Tackle-Two-time First Team All-American in 1992 and 1994 (consensus-1994)…Named top offensive lineman in Pac-10 (1994)…1994 NFF National Scholar-Athlete and Outland Trophy finalist. Mark Carrier, Southern California-Safety-Two-time First Team All-American (1988-89) – unanimous in 1989… 1989 Jim Thorpe Award winner… Two-time First Team All-Conference selection… Led the Pac-10 in interceptions in 1989 with seven. Keyshawn Johnson, Southern California-Wide Receiver-1995 unanimous First Team All-American who ranked seventh in Heisman voting…1995 Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year…Earned MVP honors in 1995 Cotton Bowl and 1996 Rose Bowl wins. To be eligible for the ballot, players must have been named a First Team All-American by a major/national selector as recognized and utilized by the NCAA for their consensus All-America teams; played their last year of intercollegiate football at least 10 years prior; played within the last 50 years and cannot be currently playing professional football. Our well-deserving Trojans will up for election this Spring, and certainly bring back great memories of USC success. While legends continue to be honored, current players are dusting off the cleats to take the field for next week's Spring practice.
