GameDay Open Thread USC vs. Washington State
VS
Hopefully USC can get back on track tonight as they take on Washington St.
AO has the game preview here.
The fans are restless for the teams first win in the Pac-10. This will not be an easy game, as Wazzu comes in ranked #4 and are undefeated at 13-0 and really playing the hot hand.
I know that this team relies a lot on Mayo but Taj and Hackett need to be a part of the game. O.J. needs to stop trying to put the world on his shoulders and pass the ball around. The team as a whole needs to stop the sloppy play and stop turning the ball over, if we can fix that SC has a better chance at winning these games. Lets hope they can get things back on track tonight.
FIGHT ON!

Mayos hits a jumper
Davon Not available tonight.
Mayo hits a 3
Taj gets a dunk on the last shot
27-23 WSU SC needs to do a better job of defending the 3. Harmeling is killing them as he has 14 points already.
This team is not good.
"Hey, OJ, bail us out."
I really think that OJ Mayo coming to USC was the worst thing to happen to this team. No one, I mean no one has developed. Hackett has regressed, Gibson seems lost at times, Lewis is not a factor, except as a turnover machine.
No height, no ball movement, awful defense.
5-13 in the conference.
Devon doesn't like to go to class
The WeAreSc folks
So are saying we probably might not go to the "dance."
Let me tell you, we aren't going to the NIT.
19 fouls against USC
At home
WTF!?
there have been some questionable calls
he may not have a choice but to come back
Davon isn't going to class
This team is garbage.
Hope you enjoyed your time in LA, OJ.
Have fun in Memphis are wherever the hell you end up.
OJ Mayo
Save a seat for Pink.
After the Mercer loss
"Mayo scores alot, Trojans lose."
I was being snarky, but, unfortunately, I was a bit prescient.
And the sad thing is
But he doesn't create, he doesn't go to the line, he turns the ball over. His defense is fine, man to man, but he really doesn't play help D at all.
And because he is "behaving", everyone is forgetting his very considerable douchey-ness back in high school. Five schools in two states in four years ... lots of other issues.
Granted, we have no inside presence, no bench, no real point guard. But he did come here because he wanted to build a program. We aren't going to NCAA's this year, and maybe not even to the NIT. And he's gone after this year. What kind of program building is that.
