Maxwell Pundit Final Ballot
Finishing up with the inaugural Maxwell Pundit, here are my picks for the post season. This was a tough one, lots of underachievement during the bowl season. So I looked at those players who really shined in the post season.
Chris Leak- Florida: While being off the radar screen for most of the season, <Cliche> Leak saved the best for last <Cliche>. He played a near flawless game as the Gators completely dominated Ohio State. It looked all that hard work over the past 2 seasons of learning the Urbanators offense paid off.
Colt Brennan- Hawaii: It's like he came out of nowhere; score early and score often then score some more. Now I realize it was against ASU but his over all accomplishments this year are simply amazing.
Dwayne Jarrett- USC: After starting off slow this season due to injury Jarrett did anything but mail it in and really poured it on against Michigan. He's off to greener pastures now and we wish him luck as he did leave us with some great memories.
Reggie Nelson- Florida: Overcoming a personal tragedy is always difficult. It is even tougher to do it while you're in the public eye but that is exactly what Nelson did and he did it with class
Ian Johnson- Boise State: What can you say, not only did he score the winning 2-point conversion but then he runs off the field to propose to his girlfriend, pretty cool if you ask me.
Congrats to all the great performers!
