Maxwell Pundit Ballot for Week #13
Well we are into the home stretch of the Maxwell Pundit Award. For those who need a refresher its all here.
Troy Smith, QB, Ohio State: Smith's season is over and while he anxiously awaits to see who will be playing Ohio State in Glendale, Mr. Smith has a small trip to make to NYC for some shopping, dining, dancing and one other thing that I can't seem to remember... Well maybe its nothing. If it's important they can just send it to him.
Mike Hart, RB, Michigan: Hart has had a solid season all year and he carried his fair share of the load against Ohio State. Will he get another chance? We'll see after this weekend. Regardless he has put himself ahead of most D-1 RB's this season and has shown he is a workhorse.
Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas: After starting the season off with an injury McFadden has shot up the charts with his versatility and strong work ethic. He is the one most responsible for the Hogs' resurgence after their blow out loss to USC to open the season. I think its safe to say that he has made a strong case for some top consideration for that other award.
John David Booty, QB, USC: You knew this was coming. He has finally turned the corner. I don't care if Notre Dame was overmatched Booty still had to get it done on the field. He has proven himself well in his first year as a starter and all that experience should do him well next season.
Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii: I have not paid a lot of attention to Brennan this year but his number really do impress, though some say it's a gimmick system, I say hooey! He still has to put the ball in the receiver's hands and that's never easy when you've got 300 pound lineman staring you in the face.
