The fallout from the closure of the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal is benefiting USC's Galen Center. Nederlander group's intention to book concerts at the Galen certainly starts to add revenue to the center. I went to a tribute for Ella Fitzgerald at Galen perhaps in the year or two after it opened. Surprisingly the venue work really well for concerts.
