Steve Sarkisian has already leaked who is going to be the starting quarterback, but now we have a better sense of who has the upper hand at every position on the roster heading into players-only summer practices.
Unfortunately the bulk of the roster is out with minor nicks and bruises, but coach Sarkisian unveiled who has the upper hand at some of the major positions on the roster. The cornerback position, which could be the best position to watch this Fall Camp, featuring the rising potential of Chris Hawkins and Kevon Seymour.
Expect the Trojans to run about 100 real football plays on Saturday, with a fair mix of live tackling periods and final instructional moments before beginning summer conditioning. Some stars to watch in the game will be, for one, the full-time starting quarterback Cody Kessler connecting with Nelson Agholor and Darreus Rogers down the field.
We know the Trojans are loaded at the running back position, which means it should be interesting to see how the carries are distributed and how effective these backs can be running from shotgun sets. On the defensive side of the ball, USC's outside linebackers looks to fill two huge holes left from Devon Kennard and Morgan Breslin.
