After losing their leading scorer yesterday, USC men's basketball announced the addition of 6-6 athletic wing Malik Marquetti (Millikan HS, Long Beach, Calif.) who was named the Moore League MVP last season for his rigorous style of play. He ended the season averaging a double-double with 22.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, and rose up a three-star prospect according to Rivals.com by returning strong for his senior season after missing his entire junior year due to injury. USC already added the services of Jordan McLaughlin, an all-CIF First Team selection and sixth-ranked point guard recruit according to ESPN.com out of Etiwanda HS, Malik Price-Martin the No. 4-ranked player in Florida according to 247Sports and Jabari Craig, a ranked power forward commit. USC’s recruiting class is currently ranked No. 24 overall by ESPN.com. MARQUETTI SCOUTING REPORT: The high-flying wing is a terror along the baseline due to his length, assertiveness, and hang time. He affects the game in multiple areas due to his long arms and bounce.
