National Signing Day was a complete success. Players, fans and alumni were thrilled about what transpired throughout the day allowing USC to capitalize and secure all 19 prospects from the 2014 Recruiting Class.
That news, combined with the fact that Recruiting Sanctions have now been lifted from the program meaning USC will be granted a full 25 offers next Spring, sent shockwaves around today's unexpectedly strong group.
While the action was unfolding over twitter, on ESPNU Broadcasts and through online blogs like Conquest Chronicles, the War Room held its collective breath while many of the top recruits weighed multiple options until the days final moments.
These Instagram videos documents when the War Room heard that John "JuJu" Smith signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the University of Southern California. As Coach Sarkisian said to the media later in the afternoon, "We put a lot of time and effort and we generally didn't know. So when it comes true, your real emotion comes out."
The day first began with news that No. 1 Offensive Guard Damien Mama would join high school teammate Malik Dorton at the University of Southern California. That promising news came alongside Adoree' Jackson for an impressive board of recruits that stuck on the wall for USC Athletics.
Then around 1 p.m., just moments before coach Sarkisian addressed fans over USC's Spreecast, John JuJu Smith -the final member of the heralded "Uce Crew"- announced that he would be attending his dream school. That news sent the entire USC community into mass hysteria as everyone recognized that 2014 Recruiting Class was locked, loaded and finally complete for delivery.
