The local four-star tight end has officially announced his decision to wear cardinal and gold this fall.

Bryce Dixon, the nation's No. 1 tight end, according to ESPN, signed his National Letter of Intent with USC Wednesday morning.

The top tight end in California, Dixon committed to USC at the US Army All-American game on January 4th and has not looked back since, despite speculation that his recruitment would continue well after his verbal was given.

Speculation was that UCLA would go hard after the St. Bonaventure product, but Bryce Dixon will be joining former St. Bonnie OL Giovanni DiPoalo and potential future Trojans' Ricky Town (No. 1 QB 2015) and Davonte Nunnery (DB Commit 2015).

Dixon was also considering Oregon, but ended up staying close to home to play alongside USC tight ends Randall Telfer and Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick and could compete for starting time right away.

Bryce Dixon will definitely be featured in Steve Sarkisian's high-tempo offense that will look to optimize playmakers over the middle. Following an outstanding performance in his senior season, which concluded at the Army Bowl, Dixon brings tremendous size, hands and athleticism to the Trojans' tight end ranks.

"Possesses very good overall ball skills with the ability to consistently extend for it before it gets into his pads. A confident, aggressive pass catcher with good concentration. Goes over the middle and can catch the ball in traffic." -According to ESPN.com's scouting department

Here are his top highlights from Hudl this past season, and watch one of the best games of the season against Sherman Oaks, Notre Dame. Needless to say, the man can makes plays over the middle and will be a nice piece to the Trojans' offense moving forward.
