USC Baseball: 2013 Freshmen Class Introduced

The 12-time national champions have a roster loaded with talent coming to campus this month, kicking off the school year. Take a look at 12 of the incoming freshmen along with three transfers taking their talents to Dedeaux Field for the upcoming baseball season.

Baseball made the splash of the offseason acquiring Matt Curtis, the former head coach of Cal State Northridge, completing the coaching staff. Now two weeks into the school year, more good news arrives in Los Angeles as the Trojans have officially announced their 15-man Freshmen class from the 2013 Baseball Recruiting Class.

"I am really excited about this year's new players," said second-year head coach Dan Hubbs. "The position players bring a lot of flexibility and versatility in terms of where they can play, and on the mound, we've brought in a strong mix of right and left-handed pitchers. We got stronger up the middle of the diamond and have added some power at the corners." -Dan Hubbs told USC Athletics
