Spring Ball Notes: Su'a Cravens to miss the remainder of Spring Ball

Kirby Lee-US PRESSWIRE

USC now has its own orthopedic clinic.

DB Su'a Cravens tore his meniscus and is out for the rest of spring. This is the same injury that Silas Redd suffered.

Walking Wounded.

  • Freshman DB Su'a Cravens is out for the rest of spring after tearing the meniscus in his knee. The rehab is expected to take 4-6 weeks, and he should be healthy for Fall Camp.
  • In all, 22 players missed practice, including 18 scholarship players. Lane Kiffin admitted that recapturing the physical identity of this team has cost them bodies. He plans on starting Fall Camp the same way, but tapering off leading up to the games.

Injuries are part of the game.

You can't simply blame this amount of injuries because we started tackling in spring ball.

Besides, other than Farmer tearing his ACL/MCL, all of these injuries will heal up before fall camp.

Back at it tomorrow...
