First off - the 20 lost scholarships for the past 2 years are gone forever. Too late to do anything about them.
But given the laughable sanctions the NCAA has given Miami, Ohio State, North Carolina and Oregon to name a few, why oh why hasn't Haden 1- gone to the NCAA again to convince them to make right going forward by basically agreeing to let SC go back to 85 scholarships, effective the 2014 recruiting class. 2- convince the Pac-12 Commissioner to back the Trojans in this matter - there has been almost non-existent league support. I may be wrong but my sense is that the SEC and BIG 10 tend to better protect their own.
For some strange reason, it seems that the NCAA is only playing hardball with SC while bending over backwards for other schools. If the NCAA doesn't comply then sue them. By the time the lawsuit is heard, the McNair case should be over - with a big loss for the NCAA. At least SC will get the satisfaction of beating the NCAA somewhere. Enough is enough!
