This will be fun to watch.
Jennifer Kessy and April Ross beat #1 Brazil in one semi-final match...
Kessy and Ross upset top Brazilians Juliana Silva and Larissa Franca in three sets Tuesday night, setting up a meeting with two-time reigning Olympic champions Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings in Wednesday's final.
...while Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh-Jennings beat China in the other.
After they came back from deficits in both sets to beat China's Xi Zhang and Chen Xue 22-20, 22-20 Tuesday night, May-Treanor and Walsh couldn't contain themselves. This one meant more, and this gold would mean more than the two they already own.
Walsh and Treanor have been absolutely possessed in their play, while Kessy and Ross have had some scary moments. But Kessy and Ross really dug in when it counted against Brazil.
I am absolutely stocked that this is an All-American final but of course we are pulling for Ross and Kessy for the win.
Either way we hope for a great match......with a Trojan Win!!
