Pac-12 media day is set for Tuesday, and fall camp for USC opens two weeks from Monday. So yes, we're getting pretty close to some football. Late last night, USC released a tentative schedule for training camp, which begins -- to be specific -- on Aug. 6. Practices have been closed to the public, but nonetheless, here's what the full slate looks like as of right now:
Aug. 6-7 - 7:30 p.m. practice
Aug. 8-9 - 3:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 10 - 6 p.m. practice (at Coliseum)
Aug. 11 - 9:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. practices
Aug. 12 - 3:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 13 - 9:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. practices
Aug. 14 - 3:45 p.m. practice
Aug. 15 - 9:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. practices
Aug. 16 - 3:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 17 - 9:20 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. practices
Aug. 18 - 3:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 19 - 4:30 p.m. practice (at Coliseum)
Aug. 20 - 4:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 21 - 2:15 p.m. practice (John McKay Center dedication)
Aug. 22-23-24 - 3:15 p.m. practice
Aug. 25 - 11:30 a.m. practice (Salute to Troy 4:30 p.m.)
Aug. 26 - 3:30 p.m. practice
Aug. 27 - no practice (first day of class)
Aug. 28-29-30 - 7:45 a.m. practice
The season opener against Hawaii at the Coliseum is scheduled for Sept. 1 at 4:30 p.m. and televised by FOX. All times are PST.
