If there are 48 receivers in college football better than Lee, this must be the greatest era for receivers in college football history.
It should be noted that Lee’s exclusion from the initial watch list doesn’t preclude him winning the award. Players can be added to the list "up to the commencement of voting," according to the Biletnikoff Award website.
