As was announced on ESPN at 6PM EDT the BCS is dead after the 2013 season.
Still lots to be decided...like a name, a selection committee and the bowl rotation.
I guess this is progress, I have been torn on a playoff for a while. I hate the BCS but I see the opportunity for corruption in this process...starting with the polls.
