USC mens tennis recorded their 41st consecutive win in the longest streak known in the modern era, yah thats right ucla 41 in a row. So I wonder if Nike owner Phil Knight was at the match to see his Ducks getting shot down again by a USC team, I will bet he wanted his clothes back. The Trojan completely de-feathered the ducks and cook them to, taking the doubles in a sweep as usual and taking all the singles matches. Lead by Super Sophomore Ray Sarmiento at #2 singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win and then Senior Steve Johnson at #1 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win the trojans went up fast 3-0. Freshman Roberto Quiroz playing #5 singles instead of 6 clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-4 win ahead of trojans Eric Johnson, Daniel Nguyen and Emilio Gomez to make it a 7 to love trashing of the Ducks.
