USC sophomore forward Garrett Jackson will transfer from the school. An official announcement is expected later today.
Jackson is the second player from Trojans coach Kevin O’Neill’s first recruiting class to transfer. Bryce Jones left USC in January 2011 and is at UNLV.
Jackson played in all 32 games for the 6-26 Trojans and started 14, but he didn’t start getting significant playing time until injuries left O’Neill with few other options. He averaged 6.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 22. 2 minutes.
