USC takes First Round of Tennis Fight 6-1

Yes its that time against #3 Bruins vs. #1 Trojans at the LA Tennis Center (built by the USTA) leap day, be there or be square. I really feel USC will take this 184th match-up between these all-time tennis greats, bruins lead 99-84 but TROJANS have the edge in national championships 19-16. Unless the bruins stack (putting lower players in higher spots) their line-up I can't even seeing the bruins winning many matches, but maybe the opening doubles.

After winning the Doubles outright the Trojan Tennis Machine ran over the bRuins in singles, taking five out of six matches. The first one to finish was freshman Yannick Hanfmann 6-4, 6-1 over ucla freshman Dennis Mkrtchian at #5 singles (who was presently at #6 a stack job by Billy Martin) but it didn't work. Then came Ray Sarmiento over Clay Thompson 6-4, 6-3 with senior Steve Johnson clinching the USC victory 6-4, 6-2 at #1 singles over follow OC player Nick Meister.
