Kevin Graf current favorite to replace Kalil
via media.scout.com
One of the major position questions regarding the Trojans has been the opening left behind by Matt Kalil at left tackle. At the moment, the current favorite is redshirt junior Kevin Graf, last year's starting right tackle from Ventura County.
According to Pedro Moura, Graf has been lining up at LT during winter workouts. It's the first time he has spent extended time on the blind side, and he seems to be making the transition pretty well. HIs major competition for the spot is Aundrey Walker, who played left tackle during his high school days in Cleveland. Walker was a backup OG this past season, and he has been currently moved to RT during workouts. If Graf has trouble later on, he and Walker may switch positions.
Graf says he hopes to build up some muscle and work his weight up to 305 lbs.

True story:
I lived in the same apartment as Graf on Ellendale. One day biking home from campus my wallet fell out of my back pocket. It had more than a hundred dollars in cash in it and a hundred dollar Best Buy gift certificate. Not to mention my debit card, drivers license, student ID, old mementos. I went looking for it for hours but couldn’t find it. I assumed someone had taken it and emptied it out. A few days later I got an email from Kevin Graf, who found my wallet. He gave it back to me with EVERY bill still in it.
So I have mad respect for Kevin Graf.
