Reports on University of Oregon injuries

Who knows if these injury reports are accurate, but with all the reporters allowed to write about our team, I figured I would pay attention to what the press up north is writing about University of Oregon

"primary issue showed itself off the field, where a handful of key Ducks watched from the sideline because of injuries, making their status for next week’s game against USC a question that won’t fully be answered until the kickoff in the Los Angeles Coliseum."

(Not so fast Mr. Sports writer- you could be feeding us disinformation, but regardless it's interesting to read this list)

"The most significant loss to the Ducks during the game was when Dion Jordan left in the first quarter with an apparent injury to his right shoulder. He wasn’t in uniform for the second half, and his arm appeared to be immobilized under the sweatshirt he wore."

"In addition to Jordan missing most of the Colorado game, the Ducks didn’t use Tony Washington, his normal backup. That meant that Boseko Lokombo, a regular, temporarily took on more of Jordan’s role, until the substitutes came into the game."

"Oregon also didn’t use starting middle linebacker Kiko Alonso, out with a wrist injury"

"The absences at linebacker put Tyson Coleman and Derrick Malone in with the first unit."

sophomore Colt Lyerla and redshirt freshman Koa Ka’ai, sidelined with physical ailments.

Oregon also lost Mana Greig, the starter at right guard in the past two games, to a leg injury in the first quarter. After that, he was on the sideline with a protective brace on his right leg, using crutches to move around.

Aliotti said. "I think our core guys, the starters, played about 20 snaps. "We got to rest some guys and got to use a lot of guys who don’t play a lot" normally.
