Howard Cosell starts this incredible find on Youtube of the very first Monday Night Football game broadcast of the New York Jets with Broadway Joe Namath going up against the Browns in Cleveland. There are seldom broadcasts as clean and pure as this today. There are no special effects and no digital overlays. Only the athleticism which we miss even in the current BCS and the broadcasting which is so clean and erudite.
