Chip Kelly is reported to be close to a deal with the Bucs
There are multiple stories starting to appear. It looks like this is for real, no denials as of yet.

Agreed
but I would expect a denial soon if there’s nothing to it.

"The 2012 USC team has some serious unfinished business to attend to and I intend to play a part in it." - USC QB, Matt Barkley
And we haven't heard one yet.
But I’ve seen multiple links, if you can call them that, that are basically saying the same thing. Again. We won’t know anything official unless someone we deem credible informs us (maybe on Twitter, although that hasn’t been the best of news sources this weekend.)

Maybe Chip's getting out of Dodge before the authorities come to town.

Still early yet...no notice of allegations, just letter of inquiry

There's multiple reasons why this would be a good time to jump
Impending snactions are always a possibility, but his stock also may not be higher than it is now. 3 BCS bowls in a row, ending in a win, with a resurgent USC looming and several new wild cards in the conference. If he has his sights on the NFL, now’s probably the time to go, no matter what the NCAA situation is.
If true
it’s exceptionally good news for USC in terms of making a run next season.
But it seems wacky on the surface. I’m going to try containing my excitement until it’s official.
Shit, I truly hope this is true. . . .
. . . just so I can go over to ATQ and say “Fuck you De’Anthony . . . .”(what’s this s.o.b’s last name, again?).
I know it's tempting, but don't start shit up.
DAT is still a force to be reckoned with, Bryan Bennett has potential, and for all we know they could get another ace coach if this deal is made.

Yah Bix lets go over and tar and feather those ducks
Yes we can't play in a Bowl and that is lucky for the rest of College FB' but next year we at USC will dominate.

. . . .and then . . . . .FUMBLES!
Uh, Playboy (you’ve got to be joking me, right? “Playboy”? . . . .ahem!)- I don’t know what’s funnier: the entire Duck Nation meltdown, you actually responding to my comment with De"Anthony’s actual last name (i really don’t remember it, nor care), or YOUR CHOSEN screen name?
Suggestion: LAY OFF THE BACKWATER! It’s prolly not all that good for you, just sayin’.

You're right, I should have left it alone
the screen name happened SBN changed formats and my old name was snapped up. Just then, the trail blazers drafted a kid from Finland to be their next in a long line of Point Guards of the Future. His club team in Finland was the Honka (a town) Playboys. I’ve got to live with it now.
Backwater? Brackish water? Backsplash? Backwash? Watersports?

Well, now that you put it that way. . . .?
That’s a righteous screen name- great ‘backstory’.
FWIW: my original comment in this thread is a complete joke. i would never go over to ATQ to flame/troll. JShufelt is one of my faves, despite being a Duck- as is jtlight, and the rest of the ATQ family. We go back. . . .

Disgusting to leave this close to LOI Day
Feel for the Ducks. Sucky situation for all current recruits and players.
A Quick Note for the Quitters
No comment from this thread will be deleted. You will have to own them when we get it turned around and beat Southern Cal. You will never ride the bandwagon when we come back. Not on BN. GO BRUINS.

I hear Neuheisel is available. Ace recruiter.

Nah, he's busy playing Team Play for B.A.C.C. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

He's a big suck-up with the bigs over there, Skippy likes to say he's a USC alum.

He did more to help USC football than most ucla coaches.
0-4 against USC with the worst winning percentage of any coach in ucla history. Fight On Rick! He was a double agent the whole time!!!!
Chip Kelly knew his time was up.
LFK and Monte cracked the gimmick code and sanctions are coming.
Fallout is already here as Jeremy Castro just flipped to the ruins. Fantastic get for the Junior Moran and maybe a few more coming. Remember that the ducks built their program on the ruins’ recruits.

Quick note: fUCLA is Castro's 3rd commit, after washington and UO
you may get a shot at him, if you want him. As might ASU, Nebraska, Syracuse and the Sorbonne

Not confirmed, but hold the phone
sure fun
for us, like a heart surgeon cracking your chest open and then saying "that’s odd… everything looks fine.’
But I know you had this experience about 7 years running with Pete. Maybe a little worse for us because we would have a harder time attracting a replacement
