Armstead back in play for USC?
I loathe to discuss recruiting because I only care once the LOI is signed, but this whole situation with the Armstead's makes for great theater.
I still don't believe he will be at USC but with Armond staying at USC through the Spring session you never know...

My question: Is Armond going to be cleared this year--
I would have to say if he is cleared there is a chance that Arik will come to USC to play Basketball
Yes we can't play in a Bowl and that is lucky for the rest of College FB' but next year we at USC will dominate.

Agreed.
If they clear his brother and his brother stays, then he is a Trojan.
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
I think they are long gone
My understanding is that Armond could be cleared (theoretically) in the late spring. National signing day is in 11 days. Arik will sign elsewhere.
I could see Armond coming back if he is cleared. There are rumors that Armond was not cleared by Notre Dame doctors, which sort of threw the family for a loop when they realized this wasn’t just a USC problem.

What the heck could be the reason for Armond not to be cleared but it is not life threatening

Completely speculating, but it might be a small vascular malformation in his brain. No problem unless he gets banged around, then could lead to a stroke.

Clotting disorder
He passed out on the field. Rumor is he threw a blot clot that lodged in his lung.
If that’s the case, any internal bleeding could be disabling or even lethal.
