Thats a blow
I would have to say that some of those Lupoi recruits are going to jump.
We just might pick up Mc Carthy now
Yes we can't play in a Bowl and that is lucky for the rest of College FB' but next year we at USC will dominate.

There are some sad and angry Bears right now
“Stab in the back” seems to be a predominant theme over at CGB.

Rumor up here is Shaq Thompson is going to wear Purple next year.
I’m glad somebody else gets to feel the pain of losing assistants every year. Nice hire by Sark.
Horrible for the Bears

This will cause ripple effects across the entire conference
HUGE coup by Sark and just over two weeks till LOI day to boot! Sark is earning his money this off season that is for sure. Getting Tosh out of Cali improves both USC and UCLA recruiting to some degree as it’s harder to get kids out of state even if it’s still in conference. This of course helps UW immensely as Tosh is one of the best recruiters in college football. Sarks recruiting had run out of steam this year, not anymore. This also hurts Oregon as UW is now going to start siphoning off Cali kids who would otherwise pick them. Of course this is a kick in the groin to Tedford.
Plan B has 26 commits already so not much to do this year

Correct but it's not really about this class
even for UW. It’s about the ones down the line. Even so, this might get kids like McCarthy to flip from Cal to UCLA. Half of Cal’s class is now in play. Don’t think Jr won’t take more kids either, he has already let several of his current verbals know they might have to greyshirt if they want to come to Plan B.

They have really hit the skids
Mora is the anti-wooden. Hiring the “tripper” is a perfect example.

You are right EV---I forgot about the CS moves by Plan B coaches

That's the thing about Plan B...
Come NSD, they’ll be talking about the 10 commits who “didn’t qualify” LOL.

It's not over yet. He didn't even have a ucla hat on the table when he announced for Cal.
But at this point I’m pretty sure he’s not right for USC.

I agree
Sure seems like a high drama kid, needs the spotlight which clearly is ironic. If he flipped to a school he wasn’t even considering a week ago just because a DL coach left, he isn’t Trojan material.

No, I think 'needing the spotlight' is more Arik.
McCarthy is the opposite… I think it is plain culture clash… Orgeron is not his style of coach and I think he felt things are too intense here.

Maybe that's why he's going to Plan B

McCarthy is a good get for ucla
Word that I hear is that McCarthy committed to Cal because he was promised a starting position. Kiffin said he would have to earn a starting job and beat someone out. Maybe the bruins did the same thing. Maybe McCarthy wanted to go to a program and help turn it around instead of coming to an established program.
He obviously doesn’t want to come to USC, and right now do we really want to be someone’s third choice. Good luck to him.
This
Good luck to him. We’ll be fine.

I guess he didn't want to enhance his chances of making it to the NFL in the first round

That always is the risk you take
by going to ucla. Your chances of being drafted high as a defensive lineman are proven to be better at USC at the moment.
I don't understand the hype for one position coach
Recruits were crying, for f*cks sake? Unbelievable.
A Quick Note for the Quitters
No comment from this thread will be deleted. You will have to own them when we get it turned around and beat Southern Cal. You will never ride the bandwagon when we come back. Not on BN. GO BRUINS.

Wow really crying
I guess things have changed in college football. Getting back to recruits I really don’t feel any of the cal recruits could help anymore than the ones Lane has already got. I would say that Lane doesn’t like to tread into the begging catagory after a recruit either committs to another school.

Would like to know who the cry baby is, that's one guy you wouldn't want on your team.
I mean it is alright to cry but having to buy extra tissue for these softies is only good at Plan B.

I would hope that the USC staff doesn't pick-up any of these cry babies.
Drama Queens most of the 5 star recruits are and we saw this with the PC players in the end—-Plus you can’t even trust them the Bushes, Newtons, and the bunch from Ohio State
