USC picked to finish first in Pac 12 South

The first ever Pac 12 media poll is in:

North

1. Oregon (29)

2. Stanford (13)

3. Washington

4. Oregon State

5. Cal

6. Washington State

South

1. USC (24)

2. Arizona State (13)

3. Utah (4)

4. Arizona (1)

5. UCLA

6. Colorado

I feel Utah and Arizona should be swapped and probably Colorado and ucla. I'd bump Oregon St and Cal up a spot each and UW down a couple of spots. I'm pretty surprised to see USC at #1 in the South, but I'd gladly take it.

This is why I love Zach Jerome

To paraphrase, he said that the Pac 12 is awesome, because USC will represent the South every year, and this year, they won’t be allowed to play! Arrogant!

Barkley

He’s got to win a few more games with his smarts and not his gun-of-an-arm. He also has to remain healthy and finish his junior season with strong efforts. If “consistency” is a word most would demand from Matt Barkley- than it would need to apply to Coach Lane Kiffin and his play-calling. Lane Kiffin has “trust issues” with his players. He doesn’t trust them to be committed to his game plan- so he attempts to win games through his as-yet-realized coaching smarts. Note to coach: “if you HAVE ‘em, USE ’em. ’smarts’ , that is. and if you don’t have ’em- please. . . .this Trojan implores you, to FIND ’EM DURING THE WEEK and not on game days. it WORKS BETTER THAT WAY.”

Regarding our defense: Monte Kiffin has to make his players understand him better. The way they played last year, it was as if they were second-graders in a calculus class. Everything seemed confusing to them, at least- that’s the way it looked in the way they played. They played so out of position at times, it was as if they were positioned to PURPOSELY NOT MAKE A PLAY on any given down. The stats would say we were better at stopping the run than the pass last year. Let’s not kid ourselves Trojans, they didn’t look like they could stop Kim Kardashian from scoring!!! (ba-dum-tish!) Seriously, the defense was bleeding from all sides last year. I affectionately refer to it as: The Tampon 2!

1st in the Pac12 South, eh? It could happen.

I have a feeling that Utah isn’t going to be THAT affected by Pac 12 teams and players each and every week. I think that kind of talk is overplayed. They’re a for real Pac 12 team, and have been for quite some time. They have a badass coach who can scheme against the best in the nation. They won’t be awestruck at all at their new found conference rivals.

As far as Arizona State? Doesn’t Erikson still coach those boys? Enough said.

I feel USC is the best in the whole conference!

Even Utah can beat Oregon (China nation) and Stanford, would like to 4 more teams in the Pac if USC is going to stay. SDSU, Fresno, Boise, and Hawaii would be great.

Who--What--Slim Shady----the ncaa is after all the BS they are lying out----and just remember they will rewrite history every seven years after the fact. Tennesse will get off with nothing on the violations, but that really doesn't matter they suck anyway.
