Google+ Privacy Story is Misleading
Google+ was designed specifically to have better privacy controls than FB. Microsoft is the MS in MSNBC, and they are a Facebook owner and partner. Thus, that article is quite biased.

I think all social networking has some privacy issues
Obviously we all know know the MS part of the equation.
I got on FB real late., because of privacy..I won’t do buzz because of the privacy issues that were found early on.
And with Google’s issues with their WiFi sniffing both here and in Europe you’ll understand if I am skeptical of this…

Conquest Chronicles
It's actually an editorial from some tech blog, and interestingly MSNBC has taken the piece off their site.
Yes, it’s a completely biased piece but remember it’s an editorial. The writer was only offering his opinion, just like Dan Wetzel does for Yahoo Sports. Unfortunately, just like Dan Wetzel, there’s nothing actually informative about Google Plus, and it’s real purpose is to provoke, sensationalize, or scare readers so it generates hits. After reading it, I honestly was left wondering if the writer had actually used Google Plus and didn’t collect his information from somewhere else.
The whole point of Google Plus is a social networking site that offers users the ability to control how much or little information is accessible to the public. That’s the whole point of the “circles” and precisely how it’s different from Facebook. The writer also fails to mention that the only two things which are actually public are a name and gender. As well as the fact privacy controls can be edited on your Google profile, meaning you can set it so that it doesn’t even come up in a search.
Honestly, this piece is down right laughable by making it sound there are more inherent risks using Google Plus over Facebook or even Twitter. It’s simply not the case.
