CBS will announce the field of 68 starting at 3 p.m. Hopefully, 'SC is include in the group. Here's the latest per the OC Register blog:
According to the latest from ESPN bracket guru Joe Lunardi, USC is the very last at-large team in the NCAA Tournament field.
Of course, Lunardi isn't the selection committee, and he put together his bracket before the Atlantic 10 championship game, which, if won by upstart Dayton, could kick the Trojans into the NIT.
Speaking of Dayton, if USC is indeed one of the "last four in," it would play in Dayton on Tuesday or Wednesday. The new "First Four" features the last four at-large entrants and the the bottom four seeds (65-68).
We'll find out soon enough.
