Texas came to Southern California today ready to play doubles but forgot about Singles, getting Blized by the trojan singles attack. After losing the doubles point 2-1 the Trojan netters came alive in the singles to 5 out 6 matches, not dropping a set in the 5 matches. Lead by #3 singles player Danny Nyguen's 6-2, 6-2 victory the trojans just took over, even though at #4 singles Freshman Ray Sarmiento had to default his match. Sarmiento is fighting a lingering wrist injury, hopefully it gets better. Steven Johnson the #1 player in college tennis finished off the longhorns for a 5-2 win.
