Well the lady trojans are growing into a very good team and hopefully will challenge for the Pac-10 title and go past the first round of the ncaa tournament. Danielle Lao has made the largest improvement so far this season along with Cristala Andrews and freshman Kaitlyn Christian, Lao is now ranked #10 in the nation and Andrews wasn't even in the top 8 last year. With this team being lead by senior #3 Maria Sanchez this team has a lot of experience and have improved in doubles play, lead by the team of #11 Pulido/Ramos. Beating SDSU they way they did shows they are focused on even the lower teams, even though San Deigo is ranked #60.

Here is a look at Dani Lao, which she has one of the best fundamental games in college tennis, notice the footwork ability to step into the ball on both sides and a wonderful service motion.
