Trojan men are dominate again running thru San Diego, led by the #6 ranked player in college tennis Steven Johnson's 6-3, 6-2 victory over #31 Dean Jackson. Followed by Jaak Poldma's 7-5, 6-1 victory over Nikola Bubnic and freshman Ray Sarmiento with a 6-2, 7-5 victory against Clarke Spinosa at #4 singles to clinch the match. Number 18 ranked and #2 singles player Daniel Nguyen and #84 Peter Lucassen finished out the wins with the only loss coming at #5 singles by Freshman Emilio Gomez (son of pro player Andres Gomez of Ecuador) for his only loss this season. Up next for USC is Pepperdine on friday at 1:30 at Marks Stadium, it should be a pretty competitive match. I am sure they will be having a give away like usually in & out for buying a dollar USC t-shirt.
Here is a doubles match o f3] Johnson/Sarmiento (USC) def. Seguso/Tabatruong (UCLA) - 8-6 at the Sherwood Cup
