First time he's been selected. Nice to see in what could have been his final home game at Galen Center. Per the Pac-10's release:

USC's Nikola Vucevic was named Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of February 21-27, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today. The junior forward led the Trojans to a weekend sweep, including an upset of then-No. 10 Arizona.

The Bar, Montenegro, native had a game-high 25 points and 12 rebounds in the 65-57 win over the Wildcats on Thursday, snapping their eight-game winning streak. Vucevic scored 17 points in the second half, including 12 of USC's final 19 points as the Trojans came back from a late four-point deficit. In Saturday's 62-46 win over Arizona State, Vucevic scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his 18th double-double of the season and sixth-straight game posting double figures in points and rebounds. He finished the week shooting 16-of-28 (.571) from the field, including 3-of-6 from three-point range, in averaging 22.5 points and 11.0 rebounds.

Congrats Nik!
